PAID CONTENT FOR EDEN HILL RETREAT & SPA

Eden Hill Retreat & Spa TRANSYLVANIA, ROMANIA

Set in the rolling hills of Transylvania, just outside the village of Simon near Bran, EdenHill Retreat & Spa offers a quieter way to experience one of Romania’s most storied regions. Surrounded by the Bucegi and Piatra Craiului mountain ranges, the landscape is defined by forested slopes, open meadows and crisp mountain air. Travellers come here for hiking, wildlife and a strong sense of rural tradition, as well as proximity to landmarks such as Bran Castle. Within this setting, Eden Hill provides a

private and understated mountain escape. The architecture is intentionally low-impact, allowing the landscape to remain the focal point. Natural materials, generous glazing and clean lines create a contemporary aesthetic that blends easily into the surrounding countryside. The overall atmosphere is calm and intimate, designed for guests who value space and seclusion. Accommodation is limited to three standalone

villas, each functioning as a self-contained retreat. Every villa includes a private sauna and whirlpool bath, enabling guests to create their own rhythm

of rest and renewal without shared facilities. Large terraces open directly onto the mountains and meadows, encouraging slow mornings. Each villa offers a slightly different perspective.

The Top Villa sits at the highest point of the property, with wide panoramic views across the Carpathian Mountains. The Hidden Villa is set deeper within the forest, offering enhanced privacy and a greater sense of immersion in nature. The Sunset Villa, more intimate in scale, is designed with couples in mind and features a private outdoor sauna, whirlpool bath and sun-facing terrace. Wellness here is centred on simplicity and

personal space. Time spent in the sauna, relaxing in warm water under open skies, or sitting quietly on a terrace, becomes the core of the experience. Beyond the retreat, marked trails lead through

forests and traditional villages, with opportunities for hiking, cycling and seasonal exploration. In winter, nearby resorts offer skiing, while autumn brings vivid colour to the hills. Local restaurants in the area showcase Romanian cuisine built around seasonal produce and regional wines.

DON’T MISS Visit Bran Castle, where Transylvanian history and legend intertwine — it’s just a 10-minute car journey from Eden Hill
