Under the twinkling lights of the clubhouse and the glittering Christmas tree a few of the members gathered to ring in the Christmas spirit in the week before the actual event. It was also time to bid farewell to Rebecca, as Administrator, who was finishing her time with us on that day and to Robert Allton, the General Manager, who had also left us the month before and it would be their final knees up. Understandably, but sadly, the numbers were a little on the low side as people were busy partying elsewhere or filling their Christmas stockings but those who were there with their guests enjoyed canapés and fizz with festive main courses and afterwards rounded off with the DJ Disco until it was time to 'hit the hay'.
