PETERSHAM BOWL


The only tournament to be affected by poor weather in 2016 at Ham was the Petersham Bowl. Though usually played for in June the tournament was postponed, due to the busy schedule at the club it was only possible to play for the trophy in September. The Billy Walsh tertiary finalists were given the opportunity to play for the Petersham Bowl though both teams knew the runners up would be presented with the floating seat!


Jet Set/Andina and Quadriga found themselves in the last tournament match of the season and played a spirited game of polo. Will Healy suffered an injury and had to be replaced by Benjie Davis in the third chukka. Unperturbed Jet Set/Andina continued to play well and closed the match out in the lead ensuring their names would be on the silverware. The best playing pony award was presented to Sodita who is owned by Laura Schiebel and was played on the day by Lorenzo Larumbe.
