Procedure: Into the main vessel add #1 through #9, and commence mixing with a Propeller at 100 rpm while heating to 80°C. In a separate small vessel disperse #11 into #10 until uniform then add to main batch At 80°C, stop heating and add ingredients #12, mix until cooled at 450 rpm to disperse the pigment. Procedure: Weigh the components of Phase A and heat up at 70°C while stirring; 2. Weigh the components of Phase B and heat up at 70°C while stirring; 3. Add little by little Phase B into Phase A and mix with turboemulsifier until the product is homogeneous; 4. Cool down at room temperature while stirring; 5. Add Phase C and stir until the emulsion is homogeneous.

Procedure: 1. Add A2 into A1 under moderate stirring and heat to 80°C. 2. Place B under stirring and heat to 80°C. 3. Emulsify B into A with high shear for 10 minutes. 4. At 40°C, add C, D, E and F with gentle stirring. 5. Adjust pH to 5.2 - 5.6 with G. Properties: Supple, shiny off-white emulsion. pH = 5.4

Procedure: Heat Phase A while stirring at 70–75°C. 2. Homogenize Phase A at 5000 rpm for 5 minutes. 3. Heat Phase B while stirring at 70–75°C. 4. Add Phase B to Phase A and homogenize to form the emulsion at about 3500 rpm. 5. Measure pH value and adjust pH to 5.5 – 6.5, if needed.
