Procedure: Disperse Sucrose Stearate into the glycerin. Add the other ingredients of Phase A and heat to 75°C. Mix ingredients of Phase B separately and heat to 75°C. Add Phase B to Phase A very slowly while homogenising. Cool down to 40°C and add Phase C. Pour into packaging while the mixture is at 40°C.

Procedure: 1. In an appropriate vessel, slowly add Aerosil® R 972 into the emollients of Phase A while mixing with a dispersion blade. Mix until homogeneous. 2. Next, add Bentone® plus glow and mix with Ultra-turrax® at 7000 rpm for 3-5 min. Return to overhead mixer and add remaining Phase A ingredients.
3.Add Phase A1 to Phase A with homogenization at 3000- 4000 rpm for 5-10 minutes.
4.In a separate vessel, add your Phase B ingredients starting with water and then remaining ingredients in order. Premix propanediol and Kelco-Care™ diutan gum** for quicker dispersion. 5. Add Phase B to Phase A very slowly while mixing with a dispersion blade. Once combined, homogenize with Ultra-turrax® at 10,000 rpm for 2 minutes, then return to overhead mixer. 6. Add Phase C ingredients one by one until complete dispersion.

Procedure: Begin heating water to 80 °C and add Phase A ingredients one by one, mixing each until uniform. Combine Phase B ingredients, and heat to 80 – 85 °C until melted. Add Phase B to Phase A under agitation and mix at high speed until emulsion is uniform. Check pH and adjust to 4-5 as necessary. Cool to 45 or under and pour into containers. Properties: Three months at 50°C, three months at room temperature, three freeze/thaw cycles.

Procedure: In a main vessel, combine phase A, mix until completely dispersed, then homogenize until uniform. Continue mixing and heat to 70-75°C. In a separate vessel, mix and heat phase B to 70-75°C, until clear. At 70-75°C, add phase B to phase A under high propeller agitation. Homogenize for 5 minutes or until homogenous. Continue moderate mixing and cool down to ≤ 40°C. At ≤ 40°C, add phase C. Cool down to ≤ 32°C and adjust pH, if needed. Properties: pH = 6.0 - 7.0, Viscosity (LV4/12) = 5,000 - 10,000 cPs * Based on existing MMP Inc. patented technology.
