Procedure
1. Heat Phase A and Phase C separately to 70°C with mixing. Using a Silverson homogenizer add Phase B to Phase A and mix until dispersed. Add Phase C to Phase A/ and continue mixing for 10 minutes. Cool to below 30°C with propeller mixing and add Phase D

Procedure Prepare A1 and heat to 75°C. Add premix A2 into A1 under mixing. Neutralize Carbopol®
Aqua SF1-OS with A3 under rapid mixing. Add A4 into A1+A2+A3 and mix for about 10 minutes at 75°C. Prepare B1 and heat to 75°C. Under mixing, add B2 into B1 at 75°C. Under rapid mixing (Rotor/Stator 3000 rpm), add B1+B2 to A1+A2+A3+A4 . Maintain rapid mixing for about 5 minutes. Cool under mixing and, at about 30°C, add C.

Procedure Prepare phase A, dispersing xanthan gum under stirring. Heat to 80°C. Prepare phase B and heat to 75°C. Add phase B to phase A under stirring. Homogenize for 3 minutes at 3000 rpm. Cool to 40°C under gentle stirring (50–100 rpm). Prepare phase C and add to phase AB under stirring. Homogenize for at least 3 minutes at 3000 rpm.
