. Figure 6 shows the phototrichogram of a
volunteer using 2% Nasturtium officinale Leaf/Stem Extract. It shows an increase in the number of hairs, especially the focused part in the frame. There are two branches of hair growing on the same hair follicle after 3 months compared to before the test started. The average hair parameters of
both the active and the placebo groups; amount of change in total hair number/cm2
,
hair growth rate /day and hair thickness/hair were assessed for every month and are shown in Figure 7. Significant differences were observed between the active group in terms of growth rate and thickness from 3 months after the start of the test, and the total hair number from 4 months. Visual images of a 51 year old volunteer in the active group taken with 3 month intervals
throughout the clinical test are shown in Figure 8, confirming the efficacy of Nasturtium officinale Leaf/Stem Extract on actual human clinical trial.
Conclusion After screening several plants for the capacity to increase the secretion RSPO1 in human hair dermal papilla, the novel ingredient from special processed Nasturtium officinale Leaf/Stem Extract -
outside the scalp
