Te final piece of the puzzle is marketing, in which RecTec adds full table player tracking to the casino’s arsenal. It’s a proposition that has been crucial to a very enthusiastic response to Table Eye from US operators. “Each geography seems to want something different,” states Tomas. “For European casinos, the most important elements are the economic benefits provided by the system. In Asia, where volume of table gaming is much greater, the discussions centre around

control and security. Whereas in the US, the focus is upon the marketing opportunities that RevTec offers to operators in regard to full player-tracking.”

Many casinos already utilise visualisation systems, whereby RevTec simply connects to any existing setup via an API. Calibration is key, however, as the system needs to give accurate results in the many varied casino environments, with light playing a major role in the quality of images generated. “We ask customers to take pictures of their tables in
advance, so that we know what to expect,” explains Tomas. “Te installation of the cameras is about adjusting to the layouts, the lights and the colour system as a whole, plus we need online access, such as via VPN or team viewer. We perform a trial for several weeks gathering data to make adjustments and to calibrate all the different physical elements, while at the same time we optimise the visualisation of the gathered data to the customer’s requirements, since every operator wants something different.
