US – TCSJohnHuxley is buying all the operating assets related to the casino furniture, layouts and accessories businesses in Gaming Partners International's North American market. This transaction is expected to strengthen TCSJohnHuxley's market leadership in this area, while allowing GPI to focus on its core competence in casino security equipment, such as playing cards, currency and dice. The deal is expected to close in January 2020. GPI was bought by playing card manufacturer Angel Holdings Godo Kaishain in May.
US – GLI has named Peter Wolff Director of Global Technical Compliance. Mr. Wolff brings more than 10 years of experience to this position, where he will concentrate on technological
advances within the gaming industry to support regulators in jurisdictions around the world, including serving as GLI’s primary point of contact for multiple state and tribal regulators. Mr. Wolff will also guide GLI’s global engineering groups on regulatory technical questions and issues to improve process efficiencies.
Mr. Wolff will play a key role in the company’s procedural and local-office government audits, including closely monitoring quality processes across all GLI domestic and international offices. Te Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians has broken ground on the new Agua Caliente Casino Cathedral City at E. Palm Canyon Drive and Date Palm Drive in Cathedral City. In 2017, the Tribe acquired 12.5 acres at the corner of E. Palm Canyon Drive and Date Palm Drive to complete a 13.6 acre project site for an entertainment development project in the heart of downtown Cathedral City. As part of that agreement, the Tribe contributed $5.5m to build a new city fire station at 68950 Buddy Rogers Ave.

Century Casinos has received approval from the Missouri Gaming Commission to acquire the Isle Casino Cape Girardeau and Lady Luck Caruthersville from Eldorado Resorts.
Isle Casino Cape Girardeau is located in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, approximately 120 miles south of St. Louis, Missouri, overlooking the Mississippi river. Lady Luck Caruthersville is a riverboat casino located along the Mississippi river in Caruthersville, Missouri. Te property opened in 1995 and consists of a dockside casino featuring 21,000sq.ft of casino space, 513 slots, nine table games, two dining venues, a 40,000sq.ft pavilion and a 28- space RV park.
In June 2019, the company entered into a definitive agreement with Eldorado Resorts to acquire the operations of Cape Girardeau, Caruthersville and Mountaineer Casino, Racetrack and Resort, located in New Cumberland, West Virginia, from Eldorado Resorts for approximately $107.0m.

Te city of Danville, Virginia, has put out a request for proposals from operators interested in bringing a casino to the city. Four operators have already expressed interest in the licence opportuntity, with city officials keen to overturn longstanding restrictions on casino gaming in the state. Virginia currently forbids casino gambling, but lawmakers have appeared more open to changing the law in recent years. Te issue is expected to be heavily debated in the upcoming legislative session that begins in January. Te Virginia General Assembly’s research agency issued a report in December that said legalising casinos in Virginia would provide a modest economic boost in state tax revenues and to communities where casinos are located.
