status quo, but our passion, and that of our stakeholders, is to embrace what’s next, hence the 2020 campaign in support of ICE London and ICE VOX.”

Explaining the background to, and inspiration for, the campaign, she added: “On the basis that you can’t go wrong by taking stock of what your stakeholders think and say, our 2020 theme was inspired by a quote from Richard Schuetz, who has held many senior positions in the industry.

Richard said, and I quote: “At ICE, one sees the latest technologies, which is why I always argue that ICE is like stepping into the future. Tat is the magic of ICE.” We are of course grateful to Richard for his kind words and for providing the inspiration for our creative campaign, which I’m sure will connect with stakeholders across all of the verticals served by the ICE London brand.”

two-day conference, Clarion Gaming’s Sadie Walters said: “For 2020, we will feature an unprecedented amount of C-Level speakers with some of the most influential decision makers and thought-leaders from across the entire global gaming ecosystem primed to provide insights and knowledge tackling the biggest issues in global gaming. This year’s edition will feature 48 hours of learning delivered by key speakers drawn from both within and outside the gaming industry who will deliver tangible benefits that delegates can take back to their businesses and improve performance. "We go into ICE London 2020 on the back of significant and consistent growth. Te brand is experiencing the most successful period in its history. In fact, since we moved from Earls Court to our home at ExCeL London, attendance has increased from 21,336 in 2012, (the last edition of ICE to be held at the Earls Court Exhibition Centre, London) to 36,093 (2019).

Over the same period the number of exhibitors has increased from 430 to 612, the net floor space has grown from 22,500sqm to 47,500sqm and in 2019 ICE attracted visitors from 155 nations. In terms of physical size ICE 2020 will occupy 39 of the 44 halls at ExCeL. We have introduced a new format and new tracks for ICE VOX, our Totally Gaming Academy will be providing taster sessions of its courses and we have introduced major new features, not least the Esports Arena that will co-host a $250,000 US prize money tournament. Add to this our Pitch ICE initiative for fledgling businesses and upwards of 70 first time exhibitors and you have an incredibly exciting, vibrant and best in breed gaming technology proposition.”

Conference focussing on hospitality, tech and innovation and an entire track dedicated to Advertising & Marketing.

“One of the most notable aspects of this year’s line-up of industry leaders is the representation of diversity across the board,” Sadie added. The line-up features several women of C-Level or above, which is hugely encouraging in terms of highlighting the growing position of influence women have across all levels of seniority throughout the various sectors of gaming. As our team continues to deliver a fresh new conference of prominent voices whom attendees may not have engaged with before for ICE VOX 2020, we hope to continue to see that number increase, so watch this space!”
