With safety at the fore- front, the HEMCO UniFlow Radioisotope fume hood is constructed with a welded one-piece seamless type 304 stainless steel interior fume chamber with all corners coved for easy cleaning. The work surface is
welded to the fume chamber liner and is reinforced to support weight loads associ- ated with isotope work, such as lead barriers and equip- ment. LED lighting and vertical slide tempered glass sash are standard features. These fume hoods are offered in 48, 60 and 72 in. (1.2, 1.5 and 1.8m) widths and can be outfitted with a wide selection of accessories, includ-

UCAMCO Publishes New Gerber Specification
SAN FRANCISCO, CA — Ucam- co has published a new revision of the Gerber layer format speci- fication. The formal grammar of the complete language, in an ex- tended Backus-Naur form, is now integrated in the specifica- tion. Furthermore, the G74 arc mode and moiré primitive were deprecated. An investigation of a repre-
sentative sample of 10,000 re- cent files revealed that these constructs were very rarely used, and the same result can easily be achieved by the remaining often used constructs. Ucamco’s stated
