DONGGUAN, CHINA — 1 Click SMT Technology Co. is now offer- ing its MAS-i2 inline selective sol- dering machine to the North American market after more than 50 successful installations in Asia. The MAS-i2 contains a
three-zone conveyor system that includes fluxing, preheating and soldering. While one board is sol- dered, another is in the preheat section and a third board is flux- ing, saving time in production. The MAS-i2 can equip two
fluxer valves, either two of the same or two different valves. For example, two drop jet valves en- able customers to double produc- tion, or one drop jet valve and one micro-spray valve enable the use of two different fluxes simul- taneously. The preheat zone provides hot air convection on the top and IR preheating at the bottom.
Smart Sonic Introduces Versatile Stencil Cleaner
CLEVELAND, OH — Smart Sonic Corporation is now offering its Model 2003, designed to clean both solder paste and adhesives from stencils, in a single ma- chine. This model comes with two wash tanks on the outer sides of the unit. One cleans at ambient temperature for clean- ing solder pastes and the second wash tank is heated for cleaning adhesives and flux residue.
