Scienscope Offers Deal on X-Ray Counters
CHINO, CA — Scienscope has launched a new promotion valid until June 30, 2021, on two of its component management sys- tems: the AXC-800 III compo- nent counter and the IMS-100. The AXC-800 III Component
Counter is on sale for $49,000 and the IMS-100 is on sale for $19,900. Both systems can be purchased together for only $64,900.
Capable of counting compo-
nents from strips, trays, sticks, 15 and 13 in. (381 330 mm) reels, or even four 7 in. (178 mm) reels at the same time, Scienscope’s AXC-800 III component counter is easy to use. Once the reel is placed in-
side and the door locked, the sys- tem begins counting automati- cally and prints a label when it finishes. The IMS-100 makes in- coming material integration eas- ier than ever by reading any type of label with 1D, 2D barcodes, and even OCR. The IMS-100 can read four 7 in. (178 mm) reels si- multaneously and the integra- tion begins automatically. A
unique ID (Internal Label) is printed after each reel is re- moved, making it easier to have

iTAC Releases Machine Data Integration Platform
SOUTHFIELD, MI — iTAC has released its
iTAC.SMT.Edge platform, designed to standard- ize and centralize machine data. Higher-level factory systems such as MES, ERP, analytics and IIoT platforms often access infor- mation in different ways. To help ease this process, standards such
as IPC-CFX are supposed to be established in the market. The CFX standard is used for vertical

communication and enables data upload and download as well as analysis. With
iTAC.SMT.Edge, data
is combined on the shop floor by a machine integration platform based on an edge solution and distributed to the higher-level systems via direct interface. Edge technology is the basis
for easily recording, linking and analyzing the data of all SMT machines in a production line in real time. With this, it is possible to
identify how the drop rates of a pick-and-place machine are dis- tributed to the individual place- ment heads or nozzles. It is also easier to track errors and estab- lish correlations between AOI
and pick-and-place data. Contact:
