Making training more realisti c


The educati on centre at Royal Hampshire County Hospital has unveiled a new educati on suite to deliver more realisti c clinical training.


The suite mirrors a ward setti ng, with two bed spaces and realisti c bedside space dimensions, to provide a tailored training experience that bett er refl ects day-to-day practi ce.


The ‘ward’ is well equipped, with a new birthing and gynaecology practi ce simulator for midwives and a high-tech manikin that will be used to train a wide range of roles.


Our staff also get the opportunity to work with SimComm Academy who provide a range of communicati on and team training through simulati on.


We are also fortunate to access the superb faciliti es at our university partners locati ons too.
