Power & Energy, Inc
The Power+Energy HEMS™ series of Hydrogen Purity Analyzers are full spectrum instruments with limits of detection per impurity of < 1 ppt. The analyser is self-calibrating and, with a short analytical cycle time,
can be used as an on-line impurity monitor. The HEMS (hydrogen elimination mass spectrometer) analyser uses P+E’s patented palladium diffusion technology combined with advanced quadrupole mass spectrometry to achieve parts-per-trillion resolution.
HEMS analysers are available in two models, the HEMS-M and the HEMS-T, which target the H2 fuel and semiconductor manufacturing markets respectively. HEMS’ is unique palladium diffusion technology removes the hydrogen from the analytical sample. Only the impurities reach the quadrupole, simplifying identification and improving quantification.
