A Level COMPUTER SCIENCE Overview of subject:


Computer Science is a discipline which requires thinking both in abstract and in concrete terms and includes programming and writing code as well as moral and legal perspectives. You will study how the subject is an important, fundamental, academic discipline underpinning other subjects. The course enables students to develop their problem solving skills, exercise their creativity and explore their interests.

Course outline: Paper 1: 40% of A-Level, On screen exam, 2½ hours, 100 marks Paper 2: 40% of A-Level, Paper exam, 2½ hours, 100 marks NEA: 20% of A-Level, ongoing project, 75 marks
