Seventeen trainees join growing team at BDO LLP


Accountancy and advisory firm BDO LLP has expand its 300- strong workforce across the Midlands by welcoming 17 new trainees. This year the firm experienced

range of sectors including sport and leisure, hotel and education, and provides leading sustainable solutions for the built environment. Nicholas, who joins the team


from Pick Everard, where he worked as an Associate in Nottingham and Derby, will take a lead role in running projects for

Andy to head business centre in Nottingham


Allied Irish Bank (GB) has appointed a new head of its Nottingham Business Centre. Andy Cocker joins AIB (GB) with over 30 years


experience in commercial banking, most recently at Lloyds Banking Group, where he was a relationship director working primarily with manufacturing, engineering and general trading businesses in South Yorkshire and North East Derbyshire. His new role will include supporting companies


across the East Midlands region, particularly businesses operating in the manufacturing, healthcare, hotels and hospitality and professional practice sectors. He said: “AIB (GB) has a well-deserved reputation for
