East Midlands lawyers make Hall of Fame list

Two leading lawyers from solicitors Nelsons have been recognised as being at the “pinnacle of their profession” after entering the Legal 500’s prestigious Hall of Fame list. Michael Lodge and Bruce

Williams have a combined experience of more than 60 years in the legal sector and are specialists in banking and finance and serious injury claims respectively. Bruce said: “It is very pleasing to receive such recognition after a long career, which I have dedicated to achieving justice for the victims of accidents and medical negligence. Michael said: “It feels really

good to be recognised in this way – the Legal 500 reflects the views of professionals as well as clients.” Stewart Vandermark, Chief

Executive at Nelsons, added: “Huge congratulations are in order to both Bruce and Michael, who thoroughly deserve their spot on this prestigious new listing.”

Industry accreditation retained by leading supply chain business

A transport and warehousing company that has doubled in size in the past 18 months has added to its list of successes with a glowing BRC accreditation. Carlton Forest Group, based in

North Nottinghamshire, has achieved AA status from the British Retail Consortium – the highest accolade offered by the nationally- recognised industry organisation. Carlton Forest is one of the

leading independent warehousing, co-packing and distribution centres in the North of England and the

Midlands. Its bespoke solutions give companies the flexibility they need to facilitate efficient supply chain systems and movement of goods from all sectors across the country and beyond. Achieving AA status means that

Carlton Forest has achieved success in all areas of its business operations and, perhaps most importantly, that it has maintained those standards consistently since its last audit in the summer of 2017. The standard was developed by industry experts to secure the

attainment and maintenance of high standards for product safety and operational management and supply chains for organisations involved in the storage and distribution, including wholesale activities, of food and non-food products. Graham White, Commercial

Manager at Carlton Forest, said: “This is something that we are all very proud of and shows our ongoing commitment to delivering the highest of standards across all elements of our business.”
