Midleton Library to Host Talk on Family History

tree enthusiasts, Mid- leton Library will host a free talk / exhibition entitled “Research- ing Your Irish Family History” on Saturday, 25 August at 12noon. Séamus Fox, a mem- ber of the National Li- brary of Genealogists with 20 years of expe- rience, will present the talk which will cover in depth the main pil- lars of family research

The Cloyne Literary & Historical Society is host- ing an event to celebrate Christy Ring at Harty’s of Cloyne next Saturday, 25 August.

McCarthy Cup now in the hands of Limerick for the next year, this free and re- laxed event in Harty’s of Cloyne next Saturday 25 August, will celebrate the


legacy and person of the late, great Christy Ring. All are welcome to bring along


their memories


and even memorabilia of Christy Ring and it should be of interest to young and old alike. It may even pro- vide inspiration for some up and coming hurlers.
