Health & Beauty A New Muse…
Smooth skin send me one of their brand new Muse Lasers to try , and boy was I surprised!!!! Best known for creating
by JOANNE DELANEY So before going on hol-
idays this year, I’ve been looking around for alter- natives to shaving or wax- ing leg and arm hair, and having hirsutisum means I get very thick, dark and course
hair all over my
body, and its relentless. Face
wise, Molly has
me covered with my laser so that area is not being touched, but for the rest of me, I wanted some- thing good, something new and most importantly something that works. The wonderful team at
the first home-use IPL de- vice in 2009, SmoothSkin hair removal devices are powered by IPL technol- o g y cre- at - e d by
tures in many professional hair removal machines. Giving you exceptional hair removal solutions, the SmoothSkin Gold is the strongest IPL device on the market, whilst the SmoothSkin Bare is the fastest IPL device availa- ble.

Product I used was Smooth- S kin Muse. T h e product

swing of using an IPL hair removal device, it is so easy - the hard work really comes in the early days, when you are using the machine to put your hair follicles to sleep (into a dormant phase) and it takes a while to get all of your hair follicles to con- form, but a lot of people have said after the initial 12 weeks, you then only need to do “top-up” zap- ping sessions to keep the hair follicles in check- so easy right? I have pale skin and
came Besutifully packaged and fully
Cyden, whose technology fea-
equipped with instruc- tions and easy to under-
dark hair which works well with IPL devices and I have pretty
quick re-
growth. The device is and is so easy to manover, par- ticularly around awkward
areas and, having never tried this on my arms before I was kinda nerv- ous … but after only one use, I couldn’t believe the difference in not only the hair but also my skin felt incredibly smooth!! IPL treatments take
time and you have to be patient, or rather metic- ulous otherwise you miss areas if you don’t work

systematically. I have been read- ing some online fo- rums and I know that some people
draw
sections on their legs (the hardest place to keep track) to help them to monitor using a white eye pencil, this is such a handy tip and helps you keep track of the areas. You have to get
rid of your hair before you zap or
you will burn/singe the ex- posed hair follicle and get a horrid singed hair smell, personally I recommend shaving the area before use to avoid that synge smell. The SmoothSkin Muse
can be used anywhere, and really really works! Ill keep you up to date with how its going over the next few months, I still cannot believe all this hair is almost under control!! X Joanne
