taking place over the weekend with Killeagh VS Lisgoold Castlelyon on the Sunday with Losgoold running out winners here on a score of illeagh 0-15 VS 1-20 Lisgooldwhile earlier on in the day we our
Junior B Hurling
Championship where St Catherines came out
on top of Aghada on a scoreline of 1-16 VS 1-11. On Sat in our Michael O Connor Motor Factor sponsored Junior B Foot-
ball Championship Final we saw Russell Rovers beat Bride Rovers on a score of 2-9 VS 0-11. Well done to Russell
Rovers who now go on to represent Imokilly in the county section of this com- petition.
The draw was made last
week for the Cork Senior Hurling Championship and Imokilly have been drawn against Bishops- town
in the third round to
take place on Sunday the 2nd
Sept in Riverstown at 19,15 this will be a tough game for Imokilly who will be defending
the title this year having won it out last year. With Imokilly having won the first two rounds this is where the cham- pionship starts to hot up. SO of your free on Sun- day evening Riverstown is the place to be with a throw in for 7.15pm
