Aghada bowed out of Intermediate
Hurling Championship when Kilworth had a de- serving victory in round 2 at Ballynoe on Saturday evening
last. Kilworth
were worthy winners with Noel McNamara unerr- ing from placed balls over the hour and the omens were not looking good for Aghada when they were reduced to 14 men as half time loomed. The opening ten min-
utes were even enough as both sides traded points with the sides level on three points apiece. Kil- worth
were decisive scores for the Avondhu men. Ronan Kennedy pulled a point back for Aghada but Mc- Namara was on target from play when he bagged a second goal for Kilworth on 21 minutes. Calamity struck the East Cork side on 28 minutes
