APPLICATION FOR A FORESHORE LICENCE UNDER THE FORESHORE ACT, 1933 (NO 12).
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Iasc Sliogagh Dun Garbhain Teoranta. Hillcrest, Gortnadiha, Ring Dungar- van, Co. Waterford, has applied to the Minister for Agriculture, food and the marine for an Aquaculture Licence to cultivate oysters using bags and trestles on an area of foreshore at Ballycotton Bay,
Co.Cork. NOTICE IS ALSO GIVEN that the same applicant has applied to the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine for a Foreshore Licence for the area of foreshore to be used for these aquaculture activities. Any person may, during the period of 4 weeks from date of publication of this notice , make written submissions or observations to the Minister for Agri- culture, Food and the Marine (Quoting Ref. T05/583A) in relation to a) the Aquaculture Licence application and b) The Foreshore Licence application. Any such submissions or observations should be furnished to the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine (Aquaculture and Foreshore Management division) National Seafood Centre, National Seafood Centre, Clonakilty, Co. Cork within that period. All submissions or observations received on foot of this public notice will be made available to the applicant for comment. The Aquaculture and Foreshore Licence Applications and all other relevant documentation may be inspected at Midleton Garda Station (open 24 hours).
