May 2018 St. Colmans Community College Soccer Match in Aid of Aaron McMahon Fund The 5th

St Colmans Community College

decided

year students of to

play a charity soccer match to

raise funds for Aaron Mc- Mahon, who is travelling to America for life saving surgery. The students each

donated money on the day of the match and also fund- raised by calling around to all classes beforehand. It

was heart-warming to see so many students contrib- ute their time and money to

such a special cause. Many of these students

don’t know Aaron person- ally but they were com- mitted to raising as much

money as possible for him. The match was played

in glorious weather and was refereed by Engineer-

ing teacher Mr Ring. The game was decided by a penalty

done to all involved! shoot out. Well
