NEW COMMITTEE ROLES -
VOLUNTEERS REQUIRED As we come to the end
of the current Season, it is time to look forward and start planning for the new one ahead.
At the end of May, we
have our annual AGM; during this meeting - the new Committee is formed and ‘voted in’. We are reaching out to members, parents of younger players, and the general public - to see if there is interest in filling some vacancies we will have.
rewarding pastime, and adds tremendous value to the groups that you sup- port.
Time is given depend- ant on each individual’s circumstances - but ‘every little helps’ and it really makes a difference. Youghal Utd has grown
into a significantly sized club over
the Club’s the last few
years, with over 100 chil- dren aged 5 to 11 years attending
Academy on Saturday afternoons and Sunday mornings. We also have 14 Com-
petitive Teams taking part in the
Munster Senior
League, Cork Schoolboy- sand Schoolgirls Leagues - and have had great suc- cess in recent times, with
Youghal United A.F.C. both Leagueand
Cup
wins across all categories. Running a club of this
size takes great effort and teamwork, and we want to hear from you, if you are interested in joining our Management Team. We have roles available
such as: * Child Welfare Liaison
Officer (CWO) * Public Relations Of-
ficer (PRO) * Schoolboys League
Secretary
* Fundraising Com- mittee Leader - or Role * General Committee

UNDER 14 GIRLS – MAKE
TURNERS CROSS CUP FINAL Turners Cross here we
Come! Congratulations to the
Under 14s Girls who de- feated a very spirited Kin- sale side 5-2 at Ardrath Park todin a thrilling Cup Semi Final. The
scoreline is far
from reflective of how the game panned out, but stern defending and resil- ience, coupled with dev- astating finishing power from Youghal, saw them through.
A Cup Final now
awaits this great bunch - and at Turners Cross of all places. Well Done to the Girls, and to the coaching set up of Jonathon, Jess, Sheila and Claire, you’re all do- ing the club proud. Follow Youghal United on Facebook at
