Playing conditions
over the weekend were superb with all players that ventured out over the 3 days greeted by very light breezes, sun- shine and excellent un- derfoot conditons. Gavin Sloane with a handicap of 06 landed the weekends spoils with 43 points, many congrat- ulations to Gavin on the win.
The weekends overall results were as follows: Men’s Singles Stable-
ford: Friday, Saturday and Sunday November 3rd and 5th 1st
2017. Gavin Sloane (06)
Lismore Ladies Golf Club
It is great to see the
Ladies out on the course with the fine weather, while it might be a little bit colder than what we are used to, at least it was dry! As the weather played ball last week we only had one week for Round 2. First in Cate- gory 1 was Helen Farrow for Team E with 19pts, Category 2 was won by Chrissie Denn with 15pts and Category 3 was won by
Jennifer Kingston
(even with a 2 shot win- ners penalty from last week) with 20-2 = 18pts -
Jennifer well done - keep up the good work. Round 3 is only one
week - so long as the weather behaves, so get out while it’s dry. With the
Autumn
league make sure you get out and play at least once a week for your team as you never know when your score might count. Don’t leave it to others to do all the work - “If you’re not in, you can’t win” and “every little helps” as the sayings go! Captain’s and Spon- sors night on Friday 10th
fantastic achievement
