expected that the date of Archbishop Okolo’s ar- rival to Ireland will occur during the summer. His Excellency Archbish- op Jude Thaddeus Okolo was born in Kano, Nige- ria, on the 18 December 1956. He was ordained to the priesthood on 2 July 1983 for the Diocese of Nnewi. Archbishop Jude undertook his post-grad- uate studies in Rome, and concluded with a doctor- ate in Canon law. Called to the Diplomatic Service of the Holy See, he be- gan his first assignment in June 1990, in Sri Lanka. Archbishop Okolo speaks Igbo, English, French, Italian, Czech, Spanish and German. His inter- ests include sacred music, piano, reading and table tennis.
