he Isles of Scilly archipelago is 30 miles off the tip of the Cornish Coast. Tis island paradise has stunning white sand beaches, azure waters and a wonderful climate where sub- tropical plants thrive in a truly unique environment. One of the best things you can do on the Isles of Scilly is discover your own favourite bay or stretch of sand, sit back, relax and enjoy the slower pace of life, the unique landscape and the warm gulf-stream climate.
Tere are five inhabited Islands (St Mary’s, Tresco, St Martins, St Agnes and Bryher), and over one hundred uninhabited islands waiting to be discovered. Tere are a wide range of things to do from hiring bikes, horse riding, walking the many footpaths that cross the Islands, taking one of the many boat trips, swimming, beach and water sports etc., or simply finding a café, pub or restaurant to enjoy the stunning views for which the islands are famous.
Given that the islands, apart from the capital St Mary’s, have almost no motorised road traffic, this is a free of polluted air getaway for families, senior citizens and whomever, seeking the simple pleasures of life with peace and tranquillity. Should you fancy a visit to a vineyard and sample the produce St Martins Vineyard on St Martins is a great DAY OUT. For fish and chips try Adams Fish & Chips in Higher Town St Martins. Tresco has the famous Abbey Gardens and much more to make a visit to this island memorable, the owners of Tresco plan to reintroduce a Helicopter Service from Penzance in 2018.
