The Babyface brand has been at the forefront of the Chinese clubbing industry for the best part of the last decade. When Babyface Beijing was put up for sale, budding entrepreneur Mr Dai knew that purchasing the club would open up a world of opportunity. With a wealth of experience under his belt and the passion to operate his own nightclub, Mr Dai was well equipped as the new owner of Babyface. He set about the renovation with a clear mind of what he wanted to achieve. He said: “I wanted to create a special style to make the club different to others in this area. I wanted to have the best lighting system and the best sound system for the club.”

Mr Dai first employed Mr Eric to head up the re-design at Babyface. Having designed a number of other clubs in the area, Mr Eric was an ideal choice for the position. Mr Eric runs his own successful design company in Beijing. When it came to the audio installation, Mr Eric contacted his good friend, and employee of BVCAM, Mr John. BVCAM is a distributor and installer of audio products in China. Mr John approached Mr Dai to request a meeting and secured a late night 30-minute meeting with him. Managing Director of BVCAM, Danny Huen attended the meeting with Mr John to introduce the company and its expertise. After further conversations, and Mr Dai’s keen interest in BVCAM and its products, Danny invited Mr Dai to the Shenzhen showroom. Here, Danny presented a demonstration of the APG loudspeakers. BVCAM is the exclusive distributor of French brand APG in China. Danny said: “I explained the advantages of the sound system and
