Glenview Bears Development Hockey – Fall Semester
Our Development Hockey classes are designed to help boys and girls ages 3-10 develop confidence on the ice while having fun. We emphasize the building blocks of the sport like puck handling, passing and shooting to the teamwork necessary for success in hockey as well as in life. It is recommended that participants wear knee pads and elbow pads. Skates and helmets can be rented and sticks are provided for free when necessary. Classes can be taken once or twice a week (except for the 3 year-old classes). Second class discount: $20 (R); $25 (NR)

The Glenview Ice Center has set aside one hour and 45 minutes for pick-up hockey games. Players must be 18 years of age and wear full equipment. Goalies play FREE!
Tuesdays & Thursdays 12:15-2 pm Admission: $9 or buy a 10- time Rat Pass for $80.
Broomball —
The game of broomball is fun for every age level! It’s played on our Studio rink and is similar to hockey, only players wear rubber-soled shoes and helmets and use “brooms” and a ball instead of sticks and a puck. Broomball parties are a great post-Homecoming, post-Turnabout Dance or post-Prom activity. Schedule your broomball party today by calling (847) 724-2800.
The Glenview Ice Center offers a Co Rec Broomball League for teams comprised of adult men and women. Games are played on Sunday evenings from Oct. through Feb. Sign up for this league takes place in early Fall. Contact Jim Weides at (224) 521-2037 for specific information. When softball season ends, try our broomball league!
