The Glenview Park Foundation
The Glenview Park Foundation is a 501 (c) 3 charitable foundation formed in 1996 to support the Glenview Park District in the delivery of recreation opportunities to the community. Two events help raise funds used for Foundation projects: The Firecracker Classic Golf Outing at The Glen Club and the Glenview 3v3 Summer Soccer Fest at Gallery Park, both held each year in June. The Foundation has also created an Endowment Program to encourage potential donors to include the Foundation in planned giving programs and estate planning.
The Glenview Park District Foundation played a large role to help fund the renovation and expansion of Willow Park Fieldhouse. Located on 2600 Greenwood Road, this multi-use facility provides a fully-accessible programming space which is used by the Northern Suburban Special Recreation Association (NSSRA) for programs that improve the lives of those living with disabilities as well as the surrounding communities.

The 17th Annual Firecracker Classic Golf outing held June 15 has become Glenview’s premiere golf event of the season. More importantly, it is the major fundraiser for the Glenview Park Foundation! Thanks to our golfers and sponsors who made this year’s event a success once again.
The Glenview Park Foundation’s 8th Annual Kick It Glenview 3v3 Summer Soccer Fest took place at Gallery Park on June 23. The event attracted 150 teams from Glenview and surrounding communities and states. Over 900 players participated in both competitive and recreational divisions. Every team will go on to qualify in regional tournaments which could lead to a trip to Disneyworld in January for the national championships.
