Salsa & Swing Workshop —
Salsa and Swing are two very popular dances, with similarities in the
turns. In the salsa, you’ll learn spicy partner moves and also freestyle steps with Latin dance styling. In swing, you’ll dance to a variety of rhythms, from rock to big band. Both dances are covered each night. Please register with a partner. This class is for all levels. Beginners should come at 7:30 pm; more advanced students should come at 8:30 pm. Level I —
Spicy Latin and smooth ballroom dances for all occasions. Lots of practical information for “social dance” situations and how to look natural on the dance floor. In addition to the standard ballroom dances, you’ll learn slow dancing for often heard popular songs, along with a style of foxtrot for a small floor.
