Online Convenience —


Our online registration system makes it easy to register for Glenview Park Dis- trict programs. To use it you must have a valid Household Number and Password. New park district users should submit a paper registration form to be automati- cally enrolled in our online system. Your e-mail enrollment confirmation will con- tain your Household Number. Be sure to include your e-mail address when you complete the paper registration form. See registration insert for more information.


Forgot your Household Number? Just give us a call at (847) 724-5670, Mon.- Fri., 9 am-7:30 pm or from 9 am- 3 pm on Sat./Sun. You may also e-mail us at registration@glenviewparks. org. Please contact us if you change your e-mail address so we can update it in our records.


Brochure Delivery —


The Glenview Park District’s four seasonal brochures and camp brochure are mailed to households within park district boundaries. Please note the U.S. Postal Service does not forward bulk mail. Resident registration begins the day the brochure is scheduled to be mailed. Listed below are the mailing dates for upcoming brochures:

Photo Release —


Photos and videos are periodically taken of people participating in Glenview Park District programs and activities. All persons registering for park district programs/activities or using park district property thereby agree that any photograph or videotape taken by the park district may be used by the park district for promotional purposes including its electronic media, videotapes, brochures, flyers and other publications without additional prior notice or permission and without compensation to the participant.

Glenview Park District


The Glenview Park District has more than one hundred full-time employees and employs several hundred part-time employees at various times throughout the year to operate its programs and facilities. From youths seeking their first job to specially skilled adult program leaders, there are many positions to choose from.


Applications for full and part-time positions are accepted year round. Please click on the Careers tab at the upper right of the home page of our website, glenviewparks.org, to view available positions. To apply for a position, follow the instructions for filling out an online application.


Recreation Leisureships So no child is left out by financial need


Provided through a partnership between the Glenview State Bank, Glenview Youth Services and the Glenview Park District.


The Glenview Park District, in partnership with the Glenview State Bank and Glenview Youth Services, makes recreation leisureships available throughout the year to those families who find it difficult or otherwise impossible to register their children for park district programs due to financial constraints. Types of leisureships offered include:


> > Payment Plans which allow participants to spread the payment of a program fee over a period of time.


> > Partial Leisureships which allow participants to pay a reduced fee for a program.


> > Full Leisureships which cover the total fee for a program.


The type of leisureships granted will be determined on an individual basis according to need. For more information or to apply for a recreation leisureship, call Jason Hickman, Director of Recreation Services for the park district at (224) 521-2548 or Alison Guenther of Glenview Youth Services at (847) 724-2620. Leisureship applications, park district brochures and program registration forms are available at Park Center, 2400 Chestnut Ave., the park district office, 1930 Prairie St. or Glenview Youth Services, 3080 W. Lake Ave. Applications for leisureships must be returned, along with a completed registration form, to the Glenview Youth Services office at 3080 W. The Glenview Park District provides several opportunities for residents and/ or businesses to demonstrate their support in the form of sponsorships.

Wi-Fi Access Now Available —


Anyone with a laptop, notebook computer or a personal digital assistant (PDA) with a standard Internet browser and built-in wireless capability or a Wi-Fi compliant wireless Ethernet card can access the park district’s wireless network for free. (Mac users with a compatible wireless card and appropriate software can also access the network.) No membership or registration with the Glenview Park District is required. Just launch your browser and follow any prompts. Wi- Fi Access is currently available in the lobbies at the Glenview Tennis Club, Glenview Ice Center, Park Center, and at The Cafe at the Glenview Park Golf Club. NOTE: Each time you sign on to the Glenview Park District Wi-Fi network, you will be required to read and agree to the terms of use before access to the network is allowed.
