further extended, upgraded and developed and now offers the most southerly golf course in the British Isles; a testing 9-hole parkland course measuring 2637 yards (par 33) together with a 3-hole Academy course suitable for all ages and abilities with costs starting from as little as £2.00! New for 2018 will be the addition of an ‘on line’ golf tee booking facility.

The once grass surface tennis courts, have been replaced by tarmacadam, allowing our users all year-round access. Another new addition for 2018, will be court lighting to two tennis courts to enable continuing play during the darker evenings.
The centre is also home to the only ‘Padel’ courts in the Channel Islands. This new sport, popular in Europe, and originating in South America, is a combination of tennis and squash and is played out door, in an enclosed glass walled court. Although the court is half the size of a tennis court, the same rules of tennis are applied, except that the starting serve must be under arm! This is a must try game.
All golf, tennis and padel equipment including golf buggies, are available to hire. Professional instruction for all the sports is offered: Golf with our affiliated PGA professional Mr Lee Elstone and tennis with LTA professionals Mr Mark Gilmour and Mr James Faudemer.
Provisional booking is not required for all the sports, but it is advisable to avoid disappointment.
The following clubs are sited within the centre; St Clements
Golf Club, St Clements Ladies Golf Club, these being established in 1925 and 1924 respectively, and new in 2017 was the ’Tennis Hub’. All these clubs are continually looking for new members, so please contact them directly if interested or via our Reception, telephone 721938. Furthermore, the Jersey Squash and Racquetball Club have their club and five squash courts located within the centre, however, this is a private club and not available to our users.

Peacefully set in the parish of St Clement, and described by the Constable, Mr Len Norman, as the ‘Green Lung’ within the parish, the sports centre is open from sunrise to sunset, seven days a week and now ranks as one of the leading sports facilities in Jersey.
Located centrally is the fully licenced ‘Partners Restaurant’ offering a good selection of wine, food and beverages and is open from 08:00 a.m. till late seven days a week. With ‘al fresco’ areas looking overlooking the tennis courts and golf course, why not pop down for a coffee or a meal.
It remains the company’s intention to continue to improve and develop the facilities, although difficult in this current economic climate. Changes to certain areas of the golf course have already been agreed and additional court lighting is also being considered for implementation by 2020.
St Clements Golf and Sports Centre is a family-friendly place, open to everyone, and continues to operate with the same spirit and intentions that its founders had over 100 years ago.
