ersey Development Company’s (JDC) mission is to

The Company’s policies are directed by the States and JDC’s projects are rolling out with considerable success.
The first building at the International Finance Centre (IFC 1) was complete in March 2017 and at the time of writing is 74% let. The second building (IFC 5) is progressing on schedule and due to be completed at the end of July 2018.
Jersey’s financial services industry remains the Island’s most economically important sector, directly contributing 44% of the Island’s economic output and employing more than 13,000 people. Locally based financial services companies demand, up- to-date, efficient office space to deliver their services and JDC is playing its part to provide the right infrastructure to support and grow the industry. JDC is committed to delivering a flagship business district that will provide the highest quality office buildings in Jersey.
JDC is not just providing office
space. Its first residential development ‘College Gardens’ at the former Jersey College for Girls site at La Pouquelaye, commenced construction in September 2016.
The development will provide 187 much-needed residential units, including 40 affordable units for first-time buyers and 40 socially- rented units that have been purchased by the Jersey Homes Trust for locally qualified over 55s. All 187 units were pre-sold either before or during construction. The first two blocks are on schedule and due to be finished in April 2018. The whole development is on target for completion in Spring 2019.
The next phase of the Waterfront development has also commenced. Once completed, ‘Horizon’ will provide 280 one, two and three-bedroom waterside apartments and penthouses. The
