The biggest noise at ICE was generated by Konami’s new Concerto Collection

Tis year marked the ICE premiere of Konami’s expanded Concerto Collection of core slot machines with new cabinets, technology, and never- before-seen game themes.

At the ExCeL London exhibition, more than 28,000 guests from around the globe were given first-hand access to Konami’s latest releases with a variety of new slot offerings including Concerto Slant, Concerto SeleXion multi-game, Concerto Stack single screen, and Concerto Crescent single curved screen. Konami’s KP3+ game library attracted strong support for a rich offering of base games, standalone progressives, and linked progressives available to international markets now and through the coming year.

For the first time, Concerto Slant arrived at ICE 2017, equipped with proven signature elements of Konami’s top-performing Concerto cabinet. Consistent to the original upright machine, Concerto Slant carries dual 27” HD game screens, but with a lower profile and relaxed- angle posture for player comfort and convenience. Concerto Slant supports any game content found on Concerto upright and is also backward compatible with proven KP3 platform titles such as Dragon’s Law, Lotus Land, China Shores, and many more.

Konami’s showcase feature on Concerto Slant is a new progressive game called Cai Lai Si Ji. Tis 4-level standalone progressive bonus combines with a unique collection of custom base games including Wealth of Dynasty, Winning Animals, and Power of Riches—each with brilliant Asian- style art elements. Any time the trigger flower symbol appears, players can be awarded the mystery-trigger Cai Li Si Ji progressive bonus, revealing 12 mystery gold blossoms which players match to determine their award.

Konami’s popular SeleXion multi-game is bringing the industry’s fastest game change speed to Concerto for the first time. With expanded memory and processing power, up to 10 different games themes can be featured on a single machine, as well as a progressive bonus. Concerto SeleXion is available for both standard Concerto upright and Concerto Slant. During ICE, Konami demonstrated the flexibility of Concerto SeleXion to highlight either KP3 platform games or new KP3+ titles, with standalone or linked progressives.

Guests were able to experience an original new Xtra Reward feature from Konami during ICE

2017 that extends high-value symbols horizontally across the reels. In this KP3+ game called Savage Eyes, Action Stacked Symbols appearing on the first reel are merged across to any adjacent Action Stacked Symbols on the same position for reels 3, 4, and 5. Tese merged sandwich symbols create big potential line wins and awaken excitement by displaying close-eye encounter with the jungle’s most majestic predators.

Konami also featured a never-before-seen KP3+ game called Charmed Hearts—the second release in its new ULTRA REELS 972 WAYS game series. Similar to other ULTRA REELS titles, Charmed Hearts awards wins based on left-to-right symbol combinations but includes a unique 3-3-3-6-6 reel frame that randomly expands to a 3-6-6-6-6 reel frame anytime during primary play or free games for up to 3,888 ways to win.

Scorching Stallion is an all-new Multiple Lines 4-5-5-5-4 game with a unique multiplier feature in the free games. At the start of the free games, the number of wild horseshoe symbols is increased across the reels. With each spin, stacked wilds on 1 or 2 reels will be upgraded with 2x and 3x, or 10x multipliers. If two multiplier wilds contribute a line win, the multipliers are multiplied each other for big potential wins.

Konami’s first KP3+ standalone progressive game for Concerto combines a wheel-based and pick ‘em style bonus. Wheel of the Imperial Eggs is a mystery trigger 3-level progressive with unique art styles reflecting an early 20th century Slavic tradition of richly ornamented

jeweled eggs associated with Easter. Players are awarded 3 picks at the start of the feature, to try to reveal a wheel spin jackpot chance.

Bursting with fun fiesta flare and colourful celebration, Smash Smash Festival is Konami’s first original KP3+ linked jackpot bonus. Instead of traditional metering progressive prizes, this linked game progresses the number of available prizes in the jackpot pool with each mystery- trigger selection until a player is awarded the Smash Time bonus to redeem all prizes in the central pot. All jackpot amounts are fixed, and odds of achieving the mystery trigger increase with higher extra bet levels.

Brothers of Fortune is Konami’s new high performing linked progressive series with delightful bonus animation and fun characters. Brothers of Fortune offers a unique themed art style, while boosting entertainment with memorable gameplay. In this four-level, symbol-driven progressive, players hit a big win whenever red and/or blue brothers appear on any three reels. Te combination of brothers determines the level of jackpot awarded.
