app focussing on alarms and security.”

Te culture to innovate is central to NSoft’s philosophy. Te company’s structure is based on a matrix where different verticals are in charge of development of the products; so there is a Games vertical, a Sportsbook vertical and a Platform vertical. “Last summer we added a new vertical, which we termed V4. Essentially, V4 refers to products which owe their inspiration to members of the NSoft team,” said Mr. Obralić. “Employees create their own internal teams and submit ideas. If the games have merit we finance their development, some of which are being shown from our stand at ICE. Te team responsible receives a financial reward if the games are successful and make money.

“V4 is tremendously popular with the team who see the opportunity to contribute to the business and share in its success and the company also benefits from more diverse product portfolio, which is not ‘restricted by standard vertical boundaries’ and can be expanded to casino or slot games, social betting, DFS or eSports.”

Tese are clearly exciting times for NSoft. Te company has grown from two to 190 employees in eight years and recently came in 55th place in the Deloitte Technology Fast 500. Mr Obralić commented: I believe the most important element is the culture that we have inside the business. We employ bright minds who embrace change and defy conventional thinking. I like to describe us as being 'positively different,’ which helps enormously when you are growing a young, energetic business.”

Gaming Partners laying out its benefits

Gaming Partners International was showing its latest lines of gaming currency including new chips, plaques and jetons under the BG, Bud Jones, and Paulson gaming brands

GPI’s newest innovative line of gaming currency, the BG V-Series, has provided the company’s customers a currency option that uses a proprietary and interchangeable mold system for expanded mold design options. Te chips offer the same colour options and wide range of chip and decal security features as the original BG JAV line of chips.

Maricela Maciel, Executive Director of Global Marketing, said: “When you take into account the number of properties to which we supply casino chips and then the number of cash and non-negotiable chip sets that they have amongst them, we knew it was vital to develop additional currency options with innovative security features to meet their growing needs.”

In addition to showing customers the wide range of currency offerings, a high priority for customers are the security features available to them. GPI’s 3-in-1 UV is a security taggant that is added to the chip material. Te taggant remains invisible under standard UV wavelengths, but is revealed with a special device. Because 3-in-1 UV is in the chip

materials, it is easy to validate chips when placed in stacks or racks. SecuriFilm is used on a chip’s decal and features a semi-transparent hologram-like effect and can easily be authenticated at the table. As SecuriFilm is incorporated into the chip’s decal, it also adds an eye catching element to the decal’s overall design.

GPI was also showing new design enhancements in the manufacture of its BG plaques. Tese new enhancements offer expanded design capabilities giving the customer more options in the design of their plaques. Te unmatched combination of décor materials and visual effects renders beautiful, one-of-a-kind plaques.

Introduced last year, GPI has been offering and selling EGC layouts to its wide European customer base.

“We have received a great response from customers on our full graphic EGC layouts. Tey see firsthand the design flexibility of the stunning, sharp, full colour graphics and feel the exceptional playing surface,” said Ms. Maciel.

GPI demonstrated its exclusive SMART RFID technology that when used with its Chip Inventory System (CIS) software, SMART delivers a complete currency tracking and authentication solution. With incredibly fast chip reads, SMART can be integrated with third- party software for optimum efficiency. Also on show was the Gemaco branded line of playing cards, which includes two paper stock and two plastic card types.
