GOLDEN RACE PLANS THRILLER IN MANILA
Having opened up an office in Manila to service the burgeoning Philippine market, Golden Race is aiming to be the ‘thriller in Manila’ with its cutting edge 3D virtual sports-betting, including the Asian launch of Real Fighting, which has seen the company become the first in the world to offer pre-recorded fight betting
World Champion fighters from all over the region were on hand to help to launch Golden Race’s Real Fighting game at G2E Asia.

Used in combination with SC Advance, EASITRAX and PPM Advance create a powerful cash management solution for gaming operators. SC Advance belongs to the SC family of note acceptors that has achieved a field base of more than two million units worldwide. Equally impressive, nearly 200,000 of those units are coupled with the EASITRAX cash management system. With the addition of the PPM Advance support tool, these products not only generate newfound efficiencies from the slot floor to the back room, but they also give operators the greatest amount of control over their games.
Also on the CPI booth was the CashCode MSM BackLoad note acceptor, which is designed to support door-mounted applications with small footprints such as bingo, roulette and tabletop sports betting terminals. To meet industry demands, it is available in up-stacking and down-stacking configurations. Additionally, CPI featured several coin acceptors and hoppers with varying footprints and capacities to meet individual application requirements.

Also on show in Macau were pre-recorded Kart Racing, 3D Virtual Tennis and Perfect 6.
Mr Wachter added: “Last year we were supplying 7,000 outlets and doing €5m bets. Tis year that’s up to 26,000 outlets and €11m bets. Much of that growth has come in Africa, where we have 9,000 outlets in Nigeria alone. We’re currently developing a mobile application for Africa where around 75 per cent of all bets are placed via a phone.”
“A lot of the growth we’ve experienced in the last two years in the region has been in online gaming and online sports betting,” said Ian Hughes GLI’s Vice President of Global Services. “We’ve at least doubled our workload in Asian i-gaming. Te business model is very different to land-based gaming as time to market has to be a lot faster. We’ve developed test tools especially for the online sector. We pick up about 10-15 new suppliers on an annual basis through our offices in Macau, Philippines, Australia and Vietnam.”
“We’re working with a lot of manufacturers who are steering away from Macau towards other regulated markets,” he added. “We seek to implement software that will allow them target very strictly regulated markets at a later date, which might take slightly longer, but will open doors a lot quicker as the product progresses. We have, for example, lots of games going into the Philippines at the moment in both Manila and First Cagayan.”
