CHINA– Interblock growing its footprint throughout the Asia Pacific region with the placement of 10 MiniStar units with eight play stations in five of Melco Crown Entertainment’s Mocha Club properties.
Melco Crown Entertainment operates seven Mocha Club properties in China’s gaming mecca, Macau. Each venue is tailored to a different theme, providing their customers with an authentically distinctive gaming experience. CHINA – Macau Slot Co, the only sports betting company allowed in Macau, has had its license extended for another five years.
The company owned by v who held a 40-year monopoly over the operation of casinos in Macau, will retain its monopoly on all sports betting except horse racing in Macau until at least June 5, 2021.
Macau Slot owns 10 locations where it takes bets on football and basketball. It also has betting facilities at five casinos operated by SJM, along with two Macau-facing websites.
The company said that in 2015 its sports betting revenue fell by 8.6 per cent to MOP673m (US$83.6m).

Te operator of Fisherman’s Wharf, Pharaoh’s Palace Casino and Babylon Casino in Macau, will spend US$42m on buying Savan Vegas from the Ministry of Finance of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic.
Savan Vegas boast 92 tables and 493 slot machines; a contemporary 476 room hotel and convention centre, restaurants, bars and other dining facilities, spa services, recreational facilities, retail shopping facilities, ATMs, and transportation and car rental services.
Macau Legend has been offered an exclusivity period of 49 years in the provinces of Bolikhamsay, Khammouane and Savannakhet.

Intralot extends deal with Pacific Online Systems Corporation

Intralot has signed an extension contract with Pacific Online Systems Corporation (POSC), a public listed company that runs the games of the Philippines Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO), untilAugust 31 2018. Tis is the fifth amendment between the two parties, since the establishment of their cooperation in 2006 that has resulted to a continuous growth and expansion of services for POSC.
Under the terms of the extension contract, Intralot will continue to supply POSC with its LOTOS online lottery system and provide the company with 1,200 terminals plus an additional 800 main
development strategy. It enjoys close proximity to an international airport to cater for the strong feeder markets from Tailand, Vietnam and China as well as the visitors from Cambodia, Malaysia and Singapore. Macau Legend want to develop a land parcel in the Savan Seno Special Economic Zone of the Savannakhet Province of the Lao PDR which is adjacent to the existing Savan Vegas Hotel and Entertainment Complex. Te planned development would include two golf courses, a 600 room hotel, villas, casino, exhibition hall and spa, pool facilities, staff quarters and training facilities.

Lotteries and wagering firm Tatts Group has sold its UK- based slot machine and internet gaming operator Talarius to Novomatic UK for A$210m. Tatts said the sale would result in an accounting loss of about $50m in the 2016 full financial year. Te company's shares fell as much as 3.89 per cent to $3.71, their lowest level since April 15. Te news follows April’s announcement that the A$9bn merger between Tatts and rival Tabcorp, had been postponed indefinitely due to concerns that the competition regulator might intervene in the combined entity bidding for Western Australia’s TAB network. Tatts investors have been urging management to dismiss the idea of a merger with Tabcorp and instead spin off its wagering division Ubet, which could be worth up to $2bn, allowing Tatts to concentrate on its lotteries business, which accounts for 70 per cent of its profits.
