Charles Hiten, Chief Executive of Merkur Gaming Americas, commented at the event’s close: “Juegos Miami was a huge gamble. Nothing like this unique event has ever been done before and, while there are detail lessons to be learned for the future, it can clearly be classed as a huge success: one that Merkur Gaming, the Team that Delivers, will look to support in the future.”

QUIXANT DELIGHTED WITH JUEGOS MIAMI AND SOUTH AMERICA GROWTH Quixant Sales Director, John Malin, described the inaugural Juegos Miami as: “an intriguing event.” As a founder member of Juegos Miami, Quixant is heavily involved in the South America market and was very pleased with the positive response to both the event and to Quixant’s products shown at the Biltmore Hotel venue. “We’re really happy with the attendance from South American customers and operators,” commented Mr. Malin.

“Tere are plenty of individual country-specific exhibitions in South America, but I think Juegos Miami has carved out its own niche. It’s not an exhibition, nor is it a conference, but a networking hybrid somewhere between the two

and we’re really upbeat about the strong start the show has made.”

Te South American market is an expanding part of the Quixant business, which has grown in part due to the brand exposure at a variety of exhibitions and events held in Peru, Colombia, Argentina etc. “Tere are always opportunities arising from this market,” described Mr. Malin. “If you look at the territory, we’d consider South America as an infrastructure project for the future, but right now we’re looking at supplying customers with products designed to suit their performance and pricing needs. It’s a very price- sensitive market, but that said, our compact range is perfectly aligned to the needs of developers, especially the hugely successful QXi-307.”

Globally recognised, Quixant has already built trust in South America; trust in terms of reliability and brand recognition. Mr. Malin describes that brand recognition not just in terms of outright performance balanced against cost, but in the added value Quixant delivers to customers. “We ensure that the brand is not just what is printed on the box; it’s about being reliable and fit-for-purpose,” he said. “It’s about our commercial model, our understanding of the industry and our industry-leading technical support. We offer shorter lead times, no minimum order quantities and each product is price and performance specific to every sector.”

One of the key aspects of Quixant’s current product range is monitors. As an expanding business segment, Quixant recognised the desire of manufacturers to display their games in the best possible manner. “We use grade A panels, our own dedicated interface, with nothing sourced from third-parties, which means that we control the roadmap,” stated Mr. Malin. “If you want to ensure the very best game interaction, one that really showcases your talented game design team, then the Quixant range of dedicated gaming monitors is made for you.”
