Review G2E ASIA 2015
Paltronics Australasia was launching a new range of table games at G2E Asia including Sic Bo and Lucky Ball Roulette
Shown as a prototype at last year’s show, Paltronics’ take on Sic Bo has the technology behind the Clarity playing surface at its heart.
Simon Witty, Paltronic’s Business Development of Table Gaming said: “Clarity is a fully sealed laminated layer with embedded LED illumination. It provides vibrant, below the surface lighting that is maintenance free for life. With a depth of only 18mm, Clarity is easy to install in the table top surface without the need to modify the main table structure beneath. Clarity includes adjustable brightness intensity and a countdown timer to promote faster play. The game also uses the new Infinity dice shaker. We’ve replaced the industry- standard, solenoid system with a contactless linear actuator, a technology that reduces friction as well as wear and tear on core components, making it maintenance free and more secure. It also uses has a magnetic locking dome cover to eliminate exposure to peeping.”
The Sic Bo system uses the Spectra table display, housed in a low profile aluminium extrusion delivering what Paltronics claims is the thinnest

table display system available on the market today.
Lucky Ball Roulette has been developed in strategic partnership with Gaming Entertainment Systems (GES), a Sydney-based company specialising in table technology. The new side bet game for roulette is played via the Spectra roulette display, and GES Progressive bonusing system.
Mr. Witty explained: “Many side bets slow down the speed of the base game, but with Lucky ball Roulette the base game remains unaffected, so it doesn’t alienate players not using the side bet. Every game has four lucky balls with the paytable ranging from even money up to 250- 1. It’s very easy for players to grasp.” Lucky Ball Roulette is now up and running at the Macau Sporting Club, Ireland.
