this process is drastically streamlined, which saves time and ensures security and financial integrity.”

The Intelligent Drop Box can be programmed to accept all major currencies as well as a mix of denominations. Up to 200 notes can be placed inside the device at a time, where they are automatically counted in a secure escrow area in full view of the Dealer and customer. While counting, the Intelligent Drop Box checks for note authenticity using the latest optical recognition technology and 3D size detection, as well as a multi channel ultra violet and infra-red scan. If counterfeit notes are detected, they are retrieved from the Note Inspection Tray leaving all genuine bills in the escrow area.

Once the final count is determined and accepted, the notes are plunged from escrow into the Intelligent Drop Box‘s secure note stacking chamber; the Dealer never touches the money again. At the same time, the note value is clearly indicated on both the Dealer and customer electronic display panels and the financials are recorded and monitored on the casinos back- office accounting system via Cashview. This means that once the safe is removed from the table, the casino will know exactly what’s inside.

Ideal for sizable operations handling large amounts of cash, the Intelligent Drop Box eliminates the need for constant retrieval of the notes throughout operating hours. Because of the built-in technology, the Dealer handles the notes only once and the money is stored in a secure safe that can only be removed from the table with a key. This equates to less opportunities for theft.

The Asian themed LED Money Wheel showcased at G2E features stunning graphics and high brightness LED’s in the design of the wheel, along with light diffusers to eliminate any risk to the customer. The lights and size of the wheel ensures it is highly visible on the casino floor, even from a distance.

Ms Kingswell said: “The LED Money Wheel is an exciting addition to any gaming floor, offering an easy to play and fun game for players of all levels. With the addition of our custom designed graphics that can be themed to promotions or seasonal events and holidays, the possibilities for operators are endless.”

To maximise the visual experience and provide even greater excitement for players, the LED Money Wheel can be paired with the Blaze Money Wheel table. The new Money Wheel Blaze table is equipped with TCSJohnHuxley’s latest LED gaming surface technology. Stunning illumination patterns, winning bet highlights and attraction sequences are projected through a slimline acrylic game surface or standard cloth layout, adding excitement to the game and making the table stand out on the casino floor. All winning bets and game sequences are highlighted for added security and to make it easier for players to understand the structure of the game.

AGI TO DOMINATE ELECTRONIC TABLE GAMES MARKET IN ASIA

Austrian Gaming Industries and distributor Jade Gaming welcomed the increased importance of electronic table terminals in the Macau market by showing a comprehensive range of dynamic ETG solutions at G2E Asia

Austrian Gaming Industries’ NovoLine Novo Unity II presentation at G2E Asia comprised the dealer- operated Novo TouchBet Live-Baccarat, the fully automated Novo Multi-Roulette and a broad choice of fully animated (‘Flying’) electronic live game versions of Black Jack, Baccarat, Sic Bo, Poker and Roulette.

Additionally, Novo Unity II also provides guests with the possibility to play up to 23 thrilling slot games directly at their seats.

Max Lindenberg, Director of Marketing AGI, said: “Coming at a time when Electronic Table Games are making huge strides in popularity in Macau’s casinos and beyond, the display of Novomatic’s top quality and leading technology multiplayer products has certainly been a major attraction, for all visitors from Macau and beyond. Nobody knows yet quite how the live table limits will work with the onset of Macau’s new casinos so there could well be a greater importance placed on electronic table terminals. We’ve seen great success in the Philippines and Vietnam and have product on test in Malaysia. It’s still very much a growing region for us.”

The Dominator Curve, which made its world debut in London at the ICE Totally Gaming show in February, was presented for the first time to the Asian markets and was undoubtedly one of the highlights of the G2E Asia show.

The Dominator Curve is far more than just an evolution of the original Dominator. With its close attention to ergonomic and design features, plus of course its 40” full HD curved touchscreen, it represents an entirely new dimension in the Novomatic product portfolio that is already proving to be a major attraction on any gaming floor. The Dominator Curve exclusively features Novomatic’s first proprietary stand-alone mystery progressive jackpot in a growing range of thrilling new games such as High Roller and Lucky Rose.

Mr. Lindenberg added: “Everyone knows about the current issues regarding slots and progressives in Macau. Once any amendments have been finalised we will make any changes to the technical standards that are required and will be ready to go again in the market.

“Together with our partners in the region we have already made our presence felt right across Asia and now Novomatic stands poised to go even further thanks to the excellence of its products and the local on-site service capability that we have put in place. We’ve seen a lot of interest in Novostar VIP, which places the focus on the Very Important Player,” described Mr. Lindenberg at the G2E exhibition in Macau.
