Nathan Drane

ARISTOCRAT DELIVERS RAZOR FOCUSED MARKET SPECIFIC TITLES Appealing to the masses,

Aristocrat, market leader in multiple Asian-Pacific markets, was exhibiting in Macau with not only a portfolio of new games tailored specifically to the Asian market but one designed for Macau

The Third Prince, a slot housed in the powerful new Helix cabinet family, is popular in Chinese folk law as Nezha, the third lotus prince battle against the East Sea Dragon King.

Aristocrat’s Senior Manager of Product Strategy Nathan Drane said: “The story is hugely popular throughout China and Asia, but has its roots in Macau. It uses symbols derived from Chinese mythology such as the lotus, the sea dragon etc. With its battle Feature bonus, far east graphics, storyline and math, we expect it to do well across most of Asia.”

The slot is typical of Aristocrat’s aim to make further in-roads into the Asian market by extending its games portfolio through focused investment behind the Entertainment & Jackpot segments, whilst innovating within its Core segment.

In the entertainment segment, Aristocrat launched five new titles in the Chinese-themed Magic Flower and 3 Emperors families.

With the emerging success of Good Fortune link across Asia Pacific, Aristocrat was featuring two new supporting titles; Pure Diamonds and Lucky Festival. In

addition, the business will showcase the exciting new Hyperlink, Fortune Tree with its Chinese New Year theming.

Fortune Tree was officially launched at G2E Asia with three of Aristocrat’s best games; 5 Dragons Deluxe, 50 Dragons Deluxe and Fortune King Deluxe.

Mr Drane added: “Fortune Tree offers a great degree of jackpot flexibility, allowing operators to put into practice their own jackpotting strategies. The Fortune Tree theme focuses on the luck, wealth and prosperity of Chinese New Year and the concept of red packets delivering wealth and prosperity. During the Hyperlink feature on Fortune Tree, a cumquat tree reveals red packets and the player selects the red packets to award one of four Jackpot levels. The link is hosted by the God of Wealth, Choy Sun Doa, the character made famous in the popular FA FA FA link. With its coin showers and jackpots, Fortune Tree is designed to bring luck, wealth and prosperity to our Jackpot offer.”

“This latest link follows on from the Good Fortune Link which was launched with two titles in 2014; 5 Dragons and Dragons of the Eastern Ocean, and quickly established itself as Aristocrat’s stand out new product across the Asia Pacific region,” he added. “This year we’ve added two games to Good Fortune Pure Diamonds, based on a Luxury Jewelry theme and Lucky Festival depicting Chinese New Year.”

Games were in abundance for both the premium and mass markets segments. Appealing to the masses, Super Wheel Blast is a new game family with three support titles. Each one takes the player on a journey to three exciting and popular international destinations; New York, Venice and Hong Kong.

Designed to be banked together to create a visual destination, the three game themes each boast a feature unique to their destination while also combining with an overarching for maximum impact with a Top Box Wheel feature

It aims to engage new player segments attracted to feature-rich products. This is the first game that runs exclusively on the Helix GEN 8 platform and utilizes the 3D video wheel integrated into the base game outcomes.

Dan Marks, creator of the Global Entertainment segment is now developing Entertainment style games for Aristocrat called ‘E*Series’.

Vincent Kelly, Managing Director of Asia-Pacific added: “Aristocrat is proud of our reputation for Asia’s best performing games, but we don’t take it for granted. We’re working harder than ever to listen to the specific needs of our customers in markets across the region.”
