Heber launches latest products - A300 and


Pluto PSU - in London Te Pluto A300 and Pluto PSU, Heber’s new products for 2017, will be showcased at ICE on stand N1-248


At the ICE Totally Gaming 2017 show at the ExCeL Centre in London in February, Heber will be showing two new gaming products. Te first product is its latest gaming platform – the super fast Pluto A300. Te Pluto A300 gaming controller is based on the AMD Embedded G- Series I Family SOC processor (formerly codenamed “Brown Falcon”).


Tis processor has been designed for demanding embedded needs and incorporates Dual Excavator Cores running at 1.3GHz, an AMD Radeon R7E Graphics engine, dual mSATA sockets with RAID redundancy and state-of- the-art power management for reduced energy consumption.


Te Pluto A300 is a small form-factor gaming platform that supports two display ports and up to 32GBytes of DDR4 memory. It also supports three USB ports, four serial ports, high definition audio 5.1 channels, two Gigabit LAN ports, and a PCIe x 16 graphics expansion slot. In addition, the Pluto A300 provides a Heber-defined I/O

In addition, Heber will be showcasing a brand new power supply for gaming systems called the Pluto PSU which is targeted at the UK Amusement With Prizes (AWP) market. Te Pluto PSU is 100 per cent compatible with the widely known Sanken SPS SPS077W power supply that has been in the market for many years now. Te new Heber power supply will support all customers currently using the highly successful Pluto 5 and Pluto 6 embedded gaming platforms. Heber decided to manufacture and sell its own equivalent power supply unit after significant demand from customers. To ensure that the Pluto PSU is both electrically and mechanically compatible with the old power supply, it has been designed by some of the original designers. Te highly reliable Pluto PSU is a simple direct drop-in replacement for the old unit and will be fully supported by Heber with sampling commencing in February and full production in March.


Visitors to Heber’s stand at the ICE show stand N1-248 will also be able to see a range of other gaming products, including its hugely successful Pluto 6 embedded gaming controller and the


X10i and X4i USB gaming I/O controllers.


Te high performance Pluto 6 has dual video capability and flexible memory options, and has been a workhorse of the embedded gaming controller industry with no other board specified in so many machines. It has a wide range of standard options that allows control of the application from reel based machines, casino and gaming machines, as well as video gaming machines.


Te Heber X10i gaming I/O USB board offers a multitude of I/O and control interfaces to gaming peripherals, such as note acceptors and coin mechanisms. Te X10i has numerous multi-purpose, programmable input sensing, and output control ports, including four that can monitor activity even when the main power has been removed.


Te entry level X4i I/O module complements entry-level gaming platforms running Linux or Windows by providing four additional serial ports and sixteen general purpose inputs and sixteen outputs via a single USB connection. Te X4i is ideal for simple networked gaming machines or for expanding the functionality of current systems.
