Mill-Max Offers Miniature Receptacles for Diverse Applications
Oyster Bay, NY — For applications requiring miniature receptacles, Mill-Max has introduced four diverse receptacles designed to meet those needs. The receptacles are suitable for use in high-density configura- tions down to 1 mm (0.039 in.) pitch. Each receptacle contains the
pitch layouts. The 0439 has an above-board height of 0.90 in. (2.29 mm), while the 8210 sits at 0.1 in. (2.5 mm). Both receptacles have press-fit features suitable for mount- ing in insulators to make connectors. The 4428 receptacle is a low-
profile, solder mount, open bottom receptacle fitted with MillMax’s Organic Fibre Plug® (OFP®). The OFP provides a temporary solder barrier that prevents solder paste from entering the contact area dur- ing assembly for paste-in-hole reflow soldering.
