August, 2016 Business Briefs Data I/O Selected by Bosch Car
Multimedia as Exclusive Partner Redmond, WA — Data I/O, a global provider of programming and IP manage- ment solutions, has been selected by Bosch Car Multimedia as its exclusive pre-programming partner for the next five years. The company was selected from a group of several suppliers after a complex benchmark evaluation. Da- ta I/O demonstrated high performance and quality technology with global service and support for the lowest total cost. The newest generation of auto- motive infotainment and instrument cluster applications require tens of gig- bytes of data programmed during manufacturing. Traditional methods of in- system programming in the automotive market were never designed to man- age this much data at time of manufacturing. Data I/O’s LumenX program- ming platform is a breakthrough in programming technology optimized for the latest generation of eMMC and SPI NOR devices and large file sizes with
the quality and security demanded by the automotive market. Contact: Data I/O Corp., 6464 185th Avenue NE, Suite 101, Redmond, WA 98052 % 425-867-6922 E-mail:
