Vida Aesthetics have launched a new premium cosmetics range, Toskani Cosmetics, which features three serums and two creams. These contain a high percentage of Hyaluronic acid with low molecular weight for immediate results and medium molecular weight for a longer-lasting result.
Dependent on type, the serums are also enriched by a combination of Organic Silicon, Collagen, Elastin, pure vitamin C and retinol among others which encourages the production of collagen, diminishes tiny wrinkles, increases skin luminosity and elasticity, while moisturising and improving the skin’s ability to retain moisture.

“I always wanted to try sonic cleansing, and after experiencing in-salon deep cleansing rituals, was interested to know how a home-based treatment would compare, particularly a unit that can be retailed to clients for use between salon treatments.
“The Ultimate Sonic Cleanse from Skinov8 Aesthetics features four heads – one for Microdermabrasion, one for cleansing of sensitive skins, a Wrinkle Reducer for facial massage, and the silicone head for the application of moisturisers and serums.
“The unit utilises gentle vibration with 4,700 movements per minute to thoroughly cleanse skin. I used the unit every night for a month, applying my regular foaming cleanser onto the Microdermabrasion head; this brush attachment was held against my skin for roughly 10 seconds on each cheek, and 20 seconds on each of the forehead, nose and chin areas; I also brought product down onto the décolleté for 20 seconds. During cleansing the brush applicator felt firm on the skin but not uncomfortable, and the vibration was very gentle but effective.
“After removing the cleanser with sponges and patting dry my skin, I applied my regular moisturiser onto the silicone head of the unit and then used this to apply the product to my face; the sonic pulse vibration ensured the product entered the epidermis, and was gentle enough that I could use this to apply eye cream too. Immediately after treatment my skin was radiant and felt incredibly smooth to the touch. After 28 days’ use, my skin is luminous and any existing breakouts have cleared without scarring, while fresh breakouts have been minimal.
“As well as continuing to use the Ultimate Sonic Cleanse on a regular basis to complement salon treatments, the fact that the unit can be used in the shower means I can now tackle unsightly blemishes on the chest, arms and upper back caused by blocked pores and dead skin cells, where I am sure the sonic cleansing technique will continue to impress.”
