themselves, they all are collectively bound by the group's unwavering com- mitment to consistent food taste and quality and by Chef Garces' underlying philosophy of Latin Hospitality. This dedication keeps patrons and groups wanting to come back again and again. In addition, planners have yet another reason to keep returning to this restaurant brand for their events: the Garces sales and events team.
"Planners love our sales process and just how easy it is to book with us. Whether the planner is from the area and is famil- iar with all of our restaurants,or they are from out of town and only know about one or two of our restaurants,we make the process easy and stress-free for them. For example,a planner might send a RFP to Amada for a group event of 75 people. Our sales team will respond by present- ing them with our restaurant options that will meet their needs, along with the menu offerings they want for their event -

even if it's off site through our catering team," asserts Moore.
"We do it all for them in just one call," she continues. "The person they speak with can help direct them without having to pass them along to someone else. Whether it's one of our ten Philadelphia restaurants, any of our exclusive catering venues or other off site options, each of our 14 local sales and event profession- als are able to help the planner across all areas of our Garces offerings."
These 14 sales and event professionals are within the Greater Philadelphia market alone, as Garces has additional sales managers at its other destination markets. The Garces team is able to help planners put together a great event, no matter the restaurant or venue desired.
"Our staff of sales and event profession- als attend a variety of networking events on a weekly basis," notes Moore. "At least
once a week, but sometimes as many as three or four times in a week, our staff attends functions by ISES,MPI and other groups. Sometimes our staffers sit on boards for such organizations, join various committees,or become involved in other ways."
"Internally, we also host our own planner events and we hold quarterly dine- arounds to showcase our restaurants, as well," she adds. "We might serve cocktails at one location, appetizers at another, dinner at a third and then dessert at another of our restaurants. It's really a great way to show off our spaces and offerings to planners who are interested in booking events with us."
Garces offers a planner loyalty program, too, which provides incentives for book- ing group events that add up to Garces restaurant rewards, and planners can use them toward future bookings or in any way that they desire.
