Adjacent to the Barnes permanent collec- tion, the Annenberg Court and West Terrace are the foundation’s premier entertainment venues. They are covered by a soaring cantilevered glass light box, which allows natural light to illuminate the spaces by day and creates a dramatic ambience by night. Accommodating as many as 800 guests, these warm, contem- porary spaces are framed by limestone, glass,wood and bronze.

“We frequently have events that are designed and inspired by the art and architecture of the Barnes,” continues Perez. “During the installation of our recent Cezanne special exhibition, we created a French-country theme for both the décor and the menu. Additionally, technology has been used here creatively, such as video mapping images of art onto our hand-chiseled limestone walls providing a spectacular visual impact.”
Perez reports that most of the Barnes event clients are from finance and legal industries.“Though we also do have high-
er level educational institutions who enjoy entertaining their most valuable stakeholders at the Barnes. Our highly anticipated and consistently sold out Young Professional Nights are some of our most popular events. Held on a quar- terly basis, guests have the opportunity to socialize, network and enjoy live music, cocktails and delicious food in our beau- tiful, art-filled atmosphere.”
The Barnes provides event and catering teams to help planners with custom menus and décor, offering as much or as little interaction as is desired. There also is private access to the venue's world- renowned art collection, complimentary in-house audio-visual services, and the option for either valet parking or compli- mentary self-parking.
