This not a reference to the food,notes Judy Moore,director of sales for Garces Group Restaurants,as some of the group's restaurant offerings don't focus on Latin cuisine - likeVillage Whiskey, as one example.
No, for Chef Jose Garces, the philosophy of Latin Hospitality is all about sitting down with family - gathering together in an inviting atmosphere surrounded by those who are important to you while at the same time enjoying terrific food.

This holds true as a common theme among all of Garces' restaurants. FromAmada to Distrito toVillageWhiskey to Rosa Blanca to The Olde Bar - all of the Iron Chef's restaurants share the common traits of a welcoming atmosphere and a hospitable staff where the focus is always on guest satisfaction and outstanding food and drink in his signature Garces-style.
Moore notes that,even beyond the outstanding guest experi- ence that all Garces Group restaurants offer for group functions,meeting and event planners will appreciate knowing that the food is always first rate whether for a table of six or a party for 60. The food that group functions are served is exactly the same as the food that any individual patron of a Garces restaurant would receive on a given night.
"Food consistency is very important,and that's something we take a lot of pride in," says Moore. "The food and food quality is the same for our group events as it is nightly in our restau- rants."
